Painting part of a Blank?

Looking for some info on painting part of a blank from the butt to the first guide. Can you recommend a paint for this application? Should it be finished with some type of clear coat? Re: Painting part of a Blank?

Rather that add more weight with a clear coat on top, just use similar paint in a color. It's the same thing.
Any quality enamel could be used, or you could try tinting PermaGloss (it will not go opaque) and get a harder final finish. There have recently been some good 2-part urethanes introduced in spray cans, that allow you to pierce and mix the components just prior to painting. No muss, no fuss. Spray Max is one, and can be ordered in a variety of colors. ........ Re: Painting part of a Blank?

Hmmm? Couldn't find the 2 part urethane.
I did find a 2k SprayMax. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
