As the title says. What are you all using to attach weight to a bare blank for ccs measurements?
Thanks Tom Re: How to attach weight to tip for ccs

Bent paper clip on the tip with masking tape to hold the ziplock bag with the weights. Re: How to attach weight to tip for ccs

Fine diameter surgical tubing with similar paper clip (very small size) fastened into one end. Two or three sizes of such tubing will generally fit a large variety of tip diameters and have the advantage of gripping more and more as greater and greater load is placed on them.

I mount a tiptop on the rod then use a bent wire. I have the weights in little baggies that have holes for the wire. I have a couple bags with know weights of rifle bullets for the powerful rods plus a number of 40, 20, and 10 penny bags. Re: How to attach weight to tip for ccs

Strip the copper out of various sized copper wire. Use heat shrink wire connectors to crimp the end of the plastic wire tube to a standard snap swivel. Re: How to attach weight to tip for ccs
