Hello,
Just thought I would share the weights of our fly stripper guides. I know you guys are always looking for the lightest and coolest. I had some time this morning and weighed a size 16 with our silicon nitrite inserts. This is titanium frame with black PVD. Size 16 was 1.28 grams, and size 12 was 0.9 grams. We have been selling black PVD titanium to the larger US fly OEM for several years. You guys should take a little time to look at our online catalog, later this year you will find nearly all of our product available here in the US. If anyone has question please let me know. Do silicon nitrite guides have a significantly lower coefficient of friction or weight than chrome or nickel-titanium guides? I have never seen a fly rod guide grooved or damaged by a fly line. Re: Super light ceramic fly stripper guides

Lower friction, lower thermal conductivity. I did not compare to nickle titanium stippers, ceramic. Some folks call it T#*Z$$e. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
