How long to wait before finish? I've read 100 times let it dry overnight (including on my bottle). Well what if I get up and put three coats on at 8, 9 and 10 o'clock in the a.m.? How many hours equate to "overnight?" Re: CP dry time

Randy I have found that if I apply one soaking coat and make sure there isn't any excess to form a drip and then in a hour or 2 depending on the room temp I will often times re apply a second and then let it thoroughly dry for 12-16 hours then set it up on the dryer and apply the finish .
remember the warmer the room and lower humidity the faster water based CP will dry the same for the epoxy. The best day to be alive is always tomorrow !! Think out side the box when all else fails !!! Wi. Re: CP dry time

There are CP's that need the 12 hours or so to be effective in retaining color according to their manufacturers. I learned that one the hard way once. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
