Have heard the XC731 is a killer black fish stick.
Cut the butt down 3" to make it 7' and it also balances better. Norman Miller Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > RodGeeks XComp series. > [rodgeeks.com] > Norm Regards Dave Fishing is Life the rest is just Details Re: 7' black fish spinning rod for L.I. sound

Rodgeeks XC 731, I just built one for The Bad influence and they've been overloading me with photos of the rod in action and with fish caught on them. Lots of positive feedback, you can read the comments made by Ed here, he is from the North Shore LI: [www.facebook.com] Re: 7' black fish spinning rod for L.I. sound

Lamiglas mb 84-2f-h is what I`ve been using for years in the western sound. It handled 10lb`ers without an issue. Re: 7' black fish spinning rod for L.I. sound

You can, but I don't. If you want to meet up to see the finished rod in person e-mail me xlrods@yahoo.com. THEre are a few fishermen in LI on the North Shore that have these Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 10/26/2017 08:06AM by Billy Vivona. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
