I'm sure that a lot of you know this but I'm somewhat new and didn't.
I love the look of the Fenwick yellow-gold rod blanks. They are no more. I had a surf rod built on a honey colored Lamiglas blank with blue hypalon grips and diamond wrap. It is beautiful to the eye and casts well too. Looking through dealers websites I had come to the conclusion that the honey Lamiglas was, also, no more. I was wrong. An E-mail from Lamiglas, I'm happy to report, revealed that the honey colored, fiberglass blank can be ordered from dealers or direct from Lamiglas. The 2018 Lamiglas catalog, on their website, indicates the models available. Makes me very happy, indeed. Steve Re: Lamiglas honey colored fiberglass rod blanks.

Honey gold, along with black, brown and white, were the staples of glass blank colors for decades.
