HI
First off I would like to thank those of you who helped me out in my previous posts, without your help I would be lost at this. Have a new question. I have a little fuzzy in the second coat of my best epoxy job yet. usually I poke away at it forever trying to get a good finish, this time I made my self leave it alone and quite looking at it after a couple of hours, more or less,. this morning the fuzzy .To be honest it is very small and on the bottom of the wrap. I would have to point it out to the average person but it is there. Can things like this be repaired with any success? Thanks, Robert Re: fuzzy

If it is a bit of protruding thread, slice it off cleanly with a razor blade. You can leave it as-is from there, or apply another application of epoxy over the top.
You are right to stop "poking" at the epoxy during application. Doing so only upsets what the epoxy is trying to do on its own. .......... Re: fuzzy

Robert,
I do not think any of us are exempt from discovering fuzzies or other damnations in our wraps from time to time, some of us more often than others. As you discovered and Tom rectified; leave it alone and trim with a new razor blade after the finish cures. With an additional coat of finish, no one will be the wiser.
