"Fashions" in rod building seem to endure, regardless of changes in technology. Forty years ago many if not most rod blanks had a pronounced spine - enough to alter the direction of the flight of your line. Today quality blanks have little of no detectable spine. The straightness of the completed blank has become a more significant factor. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
