Got a couple of pairs of fishing waders that need leak repairs. Any commercial shops that do such repairs in
Charlotte, NC area? Thanks

There are wonderful shops that will happily sell you a new pair of waders that is generally the best solution to your problem. Really tough to get a good long lasting repair on leaking waders.

Often the cause for the leaks is simply the age of the material that is causing the material to come apart.

Good luck on any decision you might make.

Flex Seal (as seen on TV) - 1 can for 19.99, but if you act now, you can get a second can for just shipping and handling...

Ditto what Roger said. I was able to have my waders repaired by Simms under warranty, and was stunned that they found over 75 leaks. Sure, I've had them for 10 years, and I obviously fish around brushy streams, but I do my best to avoid snags and barbed wire, and I would have sworn the only leak was a seam leak. In any case, the leak repair held up for about a month, and then they started leaking again. So unless you have specific leaks you can see and treat with one of the sealing products, your best bet is new waders. I've given up on the high-end fishing name brands. There's no real advantage. In my work, I buy waders for my field crews, and figuring that they will not take good care of them, I always buy them on a discount outdoor products shopping site. To my surprise, even with daily use in rough conditions (surveying wetlands), those orvis-redington-allen-hodgman-froggtoggs waders hold up two or three seasons, at less than a 1/4 the cost of Simms. So that's what I wear for fishing myself now.
