Guys looking for a blank under $100 for throwing weightless to 1/8 ounce Senko 4"... Will be building as a casting rod, and need something with a light tip with good power in the butt. I will be using this on weed edges or weed flats, not matter grass situations. So I won't be throwing this in super heavy cover, have a heavier action blank for this. I want some thing that will be sensitive, but allow me to cast a weightless plastic with ease, so not looking for a stiff blank at the tip. Will be using 10-12 lbs test flouro with this rod. Any ideas

I used an MHX SJ842 for a build almost identical for this. It's perfect for it, I have it rigged up with 12lb fluorocarbon and I use it primarily for pitching and casting weightless 5" senkos.

Rainshadow Immortal IMMC73ML. Perfect for what you're looking for. Light, sensitive and casts light baits beautifully. And it can be had for under $100.

I agree with the Mhx SJ842 if you don't want to spend the whole bill. Very versatile blank. I would also recommend one of the Phenix M1 medium light blanks. Soft tip, good backbone, crisp and responsive.
