I have a guy wanting a Seahawks themed rod. what is everyones go to for NFL logos that will fit on rods? I was told to use finger nail decals, or print onto waterslide decals. Im looking for something peel and stick and ready to do, Thanks for your input..

Roger

I just finished up a STEELERS themed rod and I used waterslide nail decals. I bought them from 2 different nail art suppliers on-line. They are sized well for use on smaller blank diameters (med-lt, & med fresh water)
and look pretty good to me when finished. This size would tend to be small on large rods. When using waterslide nail decals you will most likely want a white background under the decal. I'll attempt to load a pic on the photos area of this website (wish me luck).

Roger

Successful upload of decal photos in the thread art category. Not good pics - I just keep record photos if I need to duplicate the butt deco.

How do they look on a non white background. And what nail art did you go with? I'm building an Orioles themed rod and was looking at the Boston nail art. Just not sure.

I did a Green Bay Packers rod a few months back and got the finger nail decals on @#$%&. I dare say you can find any team you need on there. It turned out great; the customer was elated with the rod, which was a gift for his son. Decals were waterslide and easy to use. I put one in the recess on the end of the rubber butt cap and one on a yellow background just in front of the handle. Of course the color theme of the rod was in the Packers colors of yellow, green and white.

Read the rules you agreed to abide by when you registered. There's a reason for it.

I used the white background because the decals had a lot of "clear" areas and the black blank would have shown throughand ruined the logo effect. If I remember correctly I got decals from Etsy and One Stop. I ordered some from Boston Nail Art but they never arrived.

Just posted photos of the Packer Rod mentioned above. Should give you an idea how the decals look.
