Crank Bait Blank

Looking for a blank that has similar action as the Quantum Tour KVD Cranking Rods. They are a composite blank E-Glass and carbon blend. This rod feels more like carbon rod than a soft glass rod. Any good suggestions?

Lamiglas made composite cranking blanks for many years, the last of the batch is on sale for 50 % off today on the Mudhole site. There were four different powers and speeds in the CCB series, the heaviest one is the one that's left.

Phenix X crankbait blanks are pretty nice. Graphite blank with an S glass tip section. These blanks also feel more graphite than glass other than in the tip section.

The Batson Rainshadow GCB710MH is an E-glass blank and although I haven't had a KVD in hand for a while, I think it's pretty similar.

Try a American Tackle Bushido CB78/8-15. Hands down one of the best Crank Bait blanks on the market. It loads well, and you can feel and see every tick. For bigger/deeper cranks the Bushido CB78/10-20 is a good choice.
