Hi all,
I purchased a new flexcoat quad dryer recently and i will randomly have different motors shudder sometimes individually or simultaneously. Not sure why so i was hoping someone here may help. I've also sent an email to flexcoat but had no response yet. I do have a video but can't post it unfortunately. The unit has 4 x 6rpm motors. TIA Ian D Re: Flexcoat dryer motors

Hello Ian.
How reliable is your current? Do your lights ever flicker? Are the rods tight and centered in the dryer? Tight Wraps & tighter Lines. Bob, New Bern, NC. Re: Flexcoat dryer motors

I have used a rotisserie motor from an old barbecue grille for some time now as as a drying motor. Re: Flexcoat dryer motors

Ian,
Since this issue is happening with all of the motors, I would suggest that you check your incoming power. That is the most likely issue. If it was only one of the 4 motors, then I would believe that it was a defective motor. But all 4, then likely an issue with your incoming power. Bad circuit, circuit breaker, bad plug, loose connection somewhere in your wiring to your plug etc. etc. Be safe Re: Flexcoat dryer motors
