Hey all. I'm looking for a 2pc Spiral fiberglass blank for the surf 12'-13'. I'm not having very good luck. I see the Gator blanks at Mudhole and it would be perfect if it were 2pc. I want to stick with this type of blank, I fish mainly for pompano out of the surf and this type of fiberglass seems to work the best. I will go with the gator if I have no other choice, but it would be nice to find something. The Gator does have the advantage of being very inexpensive though. I've built one rod so far, and it turned out very nice so I really want to put my stamp on a pompano rod. Any help is much appreciated. Re: Spiral fiberglass rod blanks

The construction method and the finish. Just like the pompano rods at mud hole which is very similar to Ugly stiks. They provide the action we like most when catching these tasty fish. Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 04/14/2016 04:17PM by Curt Zimmermann. Re: Spiral fiberglass rod blanks

Lamiglas used to have a 2 piece in the SB 166 5F blank. It had the spiral to which you are referring.
It is not presently listed on their site as two piece. Often they may still have items in stock that have been discontinued. It may be worth your time to call Lamiglas and describe your needs. Don Becker Re: Spiral fiberglass rod blanks
