Looking for some ultra-lite spinning blanks, under 6'0". Any ones you might recommend?

Thanks - Marc

Keep it simple - that's all I can handle!

Take any 6 foot rod you want and chop the butt to get the length that you desire.

American Tackle Matrix AMSP 600 is 5 foot long, and the AMSP 661-2 is a two piece blank that is 5'6" long. Also the 721 -2 is a two piece blank that is 6' long.. They are fun to fish, and will not break the bank.

Bingham Ent. has an ultralight blank, 5 ft. long, 1-4 lb. line rating, in their Bing SHX blanks for a good price.

Check out the UL Liberty blanks at Getbit. They are a great blank at a great price as well.

Marc, I would have to second Will Cooper's suggestion on the Liberty blank. They have a really soft/fast tip that has an incredible amount of backbone. I build quite a bit of them for customers and it will be next personal UL. Also the Batson Revelation series are great little UL blanks with a fast tip. If you like the more moderate action rods, the Phenix Mirage series are pretty sweet.

Marc,
what are you looking to do with it? I use the St. Croix 4'6" for pitching small beetle spins for crappie like you would typically use bass spinnerbaits I will also use it for skipping small Sliders and LOVE it for that purpose. Nice fast little blank with much more backbone than you might expect.
