Looking to build an acid wrap jigging rod . Havent built one before so im taking suggestions on blank/length/guides. Ill be on a private boat with just me and another guy. Will probably be in the 100-150ft max depth. Should handle 5-10oz jigs. I really have no idea on the ideal length, but my brain says 6ft or so? Was thinking the Rainshadow RCKJB600-210, But wanted to get some suggestions. Lighter the better
Appreciate any info you can provide Re: Jig Rod

I just got done building on 4 of those blanks this winter, but have not fished them yet.
They are really nice, have a nice bend to them. Just give Kerry @ Batson a call as I did, as he helped me chose the blanks for the fish I will target with, (Albacore Tuna) As for the guides, I used the Alps XN series, also spiral wrapped. Sorry not much more help then that, Re: Jig Rod

The rainshadow knife jig blanks are great. Another option is the seeker Hercules blanks. Good luck Re: Jig Rod
