Hey all. Wondering how to incorporate the back grip (cork) onto the threaded body/barrel of the reel seat like the gloomis nrx spinning rods? Pretty much hiding the threads with cork. I have an idea but stuck on how to stop the nut from screwimg off the threaded part. Any help would be great! Thanks. Re: Cork on threaded body/barrel reel seat

The reel will release and come off well before you run out of threads. The thread length is the same for skeleton seats and regular pipe reel seats. The size would be a 17 mm seat, Loomis ha never used the smaller 16 mm size. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 02/23/2016 01:19AM by Spencer Phipps. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
