Jacqueline Miller from Mississippi won the Renzetti Lathe at this year's RodMaker Reception. The lathe was purchased and donated by RodMaker Magazine. This is the 8th out of 15 years that a woman has won the lathe.

Additional grand door prizes were wrapping machines from ALPS (Batson Enterprises) and American Tackle.

Thanks Tom K & Tom W. This was our first expo and we had a great time. Jackie winning the Renzetti lathe was the topper. I enjoyed seeing all of the rod building stuff in one place allowing me to see some new stuff and wiggle a bunch of rod blanks from different manufacturers. This is something that is otherwise impossible to do. I bought a bunch of stuff and will place a number of orders when I get home. It was also nice meeting and talking to people that love making rods. The artistry displayed on the rods shown at the expo was amazing. There are a lot of truely talented artists that build rods. Wish I had that kind of artistic talent. Maybe the new lathe will help! I think my wife will let me use from time to time.
Tom W I am sorry that circumstances did not allow you to attend the expo. I was looking forward to meeting you. Best wishes!
Norm
