I know it's monday after the show and everyone is still coming back or on overload but here goes.
I've got a guy who wants a 10' Center pin rod. I know where he fishes and can see his reasoning. sinice I can't find any manufacturers that make one that short her is my thought. use a 10' fly rod blank. looking at the numbers and diamensions of a 13' CP blank and converting to a 10' I figure a 6 wt fly blank should work. Thougths? suggestions/ Thanks Re: short CP rod

In Mich when center pinning from a drift boat we use the The Batson Rainshadow IM7 IST1263F or IST1264F both are10'6" much easyer to handle the shorter rods in a boat, They are a true float rod, They can be had at [www.schneidersrods.com] or call Karen at Bingham as I think I remember she has or can get them also. Tight Lines Jaa [www.angelfire.com] P/S A few post down from yours is a post titled {Michigan Rod Builders 2016 Gathering} You might post this there and ask {Dow} or {Randy} he may know of other brands that will fit the bill nicely Edited 2 time(s). I've actually got a 9 1/2' MHX rod that I have used as a CP as well as bottom bouncing rod.
