Need to bore some EVA. I understand a hollow tube is used to bore EVA foam. Where can I get one and does it need to be sharpened to make it work. Re: How to Bore EVA

Trying to bore EVA with a hollow tube by hand is possible but can be somewhat difficult to keep the bore straight. A reverse pilot drill bit is easier, provided the centering portion is sized to fit the existing bore.

It seems to me that keeping the EVA straight would be the major concern when it comes to boring it. That's where I could see the hollow tube coming into play.
The I.D. of the tube, matching the O.D. of the EVA. Slide the EVA into the tube, and then either chuck it up in a lathe, or clamp it up on a drill press. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
