I have seen a few photos of chevron wraps that appear to blend from one color to the other. I am curious if anyone has a method to accomplish this. My thought is to start with the new color and start wrapping one old, one new, one old two new, etc for about 4 or five wraps then start the new color all on its own. I haven't tried this approach, so before I do I wanted some advice from the experts.
Thanks. John Re: "Blended" chevron

That's pretty much how you do it. We've covered it in early issues of RodMaker.
To go from say, dark blue to light blue, you might wrap 5 dk and 1 light. Then 4 dk and 2 light. Then 3 dk and 3 light, then 2 dk and 4 light, 1 dk and 5 light. To go into another shade you'd start there and perform the same sequence with the light blue and the next color. ........... Re: "Blended" chevron

google "fade wrap rod building"
first image is a pattern I keep track of it on a graph sheet so I don't lose track. It is also in Rodmaker in one of the past issues, in Billy Vivona's book, probably lots of other places also Re: "Blended" chevron

Many thanks.
I see many references to past issues of RodMaker. Two questions, one is there any way to get past issues, and if so is there a list of past issue contents? Two, how can I subscribe to RodBuilder? Thanks. John Re: "Blended" chevron
