What an unbelievable weekend. Thought I was going to get some rodbuilding done this weekend....wrong. Had 31.5 official inches of snow in Bel Air, Maryland and was wondering how our fellow rod builders up north or down south made out? Other than the roof collapsing on my neighborhood Safeway store we did alright.
Hope everyone is okay. Tom Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 01/24/2016 10:11PM by Tom Wewerka. Re: Winter Storn Jonas

Wow, I live in upstate NY and have green grass here. We lucked out and the snow tracked to the southern part of NY... I am sure it won't last though, but I am fine with the no snow. Re: Winter Storn Jonas

Depends on what part of the state you're in. Western North Carolina got over 5 feet in some spots, here in the Central Piedmont we got maybe 4 inches. No big deal.

I was on the job in Jersey City for 24 hrs preparing the building for another tide surge that never came, and that's a good thing. Sealing doors to the switch gear rooms and and sandbagging the loading docks was much more difficult than when Sandy was coming in. Dennis J. Danku (Sayreville,NJ) Re: Winter Storn Jonas

Ken,
I previously lived in New Bern just off of the Neuse while I was stationed at Cherry Point. Enjoy it, it is a special place with some pretty good fishing, fair duck hunting and good people. Tom Re: Winter Storn Jonas
