Any good sources for glass fly blanks? I see Lamiglass still offer some. Thanks - Marc Keep it simple - that's all I can handle! Re: Glass Fly Blanks

Marc
My favorite glass blank is the Epic available from www.swiftflyfishing.com. They are pricey but in my opinion are one of the best glass blanks available today. If you are looking for something a bit less expensive check out the Ruby River fiberglass blank from www.greencadis.com. Their blanks come with 2 tips and are in the $50 range. There are other choices and sources available and I suggest you check out some of the site sponsors web sites as well. Hope this helps John A. Re: Glass Fly Blanks

Lots! CTS Quartz
Epic, Swift Fly Fishing, CTS Rolls their blanks to Epic Spec's. Steffen Brothers Seele Kabuto Livingston Rod Company Tom Morgan Rodsmiths The above stuff is all higher end stuff, there are other import blanks that are in a much lower price point, but I don't have any experience with them. Take a look at the Fiberglass Manifesto site, there is a much longer list of who is who in the glass world. Re: Glass Fly Blanks

One of the very best being made today are Tom Morgan's, if you can get your hands on one, you will not be disappointed. Tom is attempting to sell his business. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
