CP over metallic

Has anybody ever used CP over metallic's and what brand did you use as I would like to keep the same Metaliic look.

No CP needed for metallics they will hold its color without it. I do use rod dancer/threadmaster brand on nylons though

No need for CP. I use perma gloss on metallic thread. It gives it a bright shine and seals the thread. Apply two coats and make sure it's dry before reapplying. Usually 1-2 hours is good. Make sure to close cap tight and if possible store in the refrigerator. It will last longer. Good luck, MH

I use cp on most of my wraps which include metallic thread trim bands. Although cp is not needed over metallics, cp may be applied without any problems! I have used many brands of cp in the past and any of them will work well.

I know where CP on metallic thread is helpful. I recently used sulky prism white thread for trim bands on a colored blank and the color came through. It's not a problem, but CP would've kept that from happening. Happy Holidays!
