A Hats off to RodGeeks

Went out to the Water to give it a shot and during my ill-fated trip I managed to Break my Rod Geeks Blank , Built it last year. Not only broke it but Lost the tip section in the Drink! After I stopped calling myself a few very bad names,I gave up and came home. My better half Ann says sent them a email and check if there is a warranty. Well thats what I did ,not expecting any Joy! but received a answer that yes it was under warranty, and they would replace it !! then got another email asking if I wanted it painted? I asked about RED - WHITE - BLUE and it was no problem. It came today and it is Beautiful! I will build this with pride! (maybe copy the pattern on my Vietnam ribbon or keep the flag colors going)

WELL HATS OFF TO ROD GEEKS! Customer Service at it's Best! THANK YOU

why not do a blue and white star pattern on the handle, blue thread wraps with white trim bands?
could even use blue zirconium guides

Barry, sounds as though you have you a very good woman! I really like Steve's suggestion and if you can't find the guides shoot me an email as I special ordered a BUNCH of the original Batson micro's and have a few left I could help you out with. They have the black frame with the blue insert. Just glad to help a fellow veteran!

Hi Barry,

That is terrible and I feel your pain.

RODgeeks is a welcome addition to the blank manufacturers supplying us with great blanks. It is very easy to sing their praises. They deliver promptly and on time if not sooner. They listen to our needs as is evident by new models. They give us all these colors at a reasonable cost and now we have combo colored blanks. I had been trying to get red/white/blue colored blanks for years. I asked Bob Penicka if r/w/b blanks were possible and he said yes. I use the r/w/b blanks for my Patriot Series of rods to honor those who served in the military.

For those who go to the EXPO make sure you check out the RODgeeks booth. You will not be disappointed.
