I created a base on my tiger of pink and metallic silver. The pink matched the eva perfect. After putting in the overwrap and leaving the black it darkened up the tiger. I got great movement but it turned the pink more of a red.
What colors should I use instead to give me both movement and at the same time keep the tiger lighter in color? Re: Need tiger wrap lighter in color.

Just my 2¢ worth but if you put black and silver on the bottom and Pink on top you might get the effect you're looking for. The top color tends to define the color of the wrap and the bottom gives the movement. Steve Hartzell Lake Conroe - Willis, Texas Re: Need tiger wrap lighter in color.

Thanks Steve I had originally tried that and the pink was lost in to black and silver. It did turn the wrap a hue of pink but was so subtle it looked more black and silver then anything. Re: Need tiger wrap lighter in color.

I'm far from a tiger expert, but I do have some color printing background. I think it might pay you to try pink ( or some variation thereof) as your top layer if you've got pink and silver on the bottom. That should keep you on the pink side rather than black. Hello All.
Not having much experience with Tiger Wraps I have a question, "what would happen if the black was replaced with a dark red color?". Tight Wraps & Tighter Lines. Bob, New Bern, NC. Re: Need tiger wrap lighter in color.

Did you try black and white on the bottom with pink on top? Re: Need tiger wrap lighter in color.

I did indeed try black and white(silver) on bottom with pink on top. I honestly don't know if having another shade of pink on top would show the tiger design or just make for a pink wrap. I'll have to try it over the weekend. Re: Need tiger wrap lighter in color.

Maybe try dark pink on bottom with white or silver with the pink you're already using on top. Re: Need tiger wrap lighter in color.

Any colors on the bottom will work .... as long as they are black & white! :-) Re: Need tiger wrap lighter in color.

Try Grey and Silver on the bottom with Pink over.
I think you need to tone down the Black with a pale colour like Pink. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
