Hi,

Received the latest issue of RodMaker today in an envelope. Also in the envelope was a 2016 Anglers Resource catalog, Fuji.

Thank you.

The Anglers Resource catalog indeed carries the Fuji items which AR imports and sells, along with other items that they bring in from other sources or have made for their own sale. The actual Fuji catalog is a different item.

Lynn,

I don't believe Fuji has printed an English language version of their catalog in a number of years. Are you asking about this to find out about products they make that Anglers Resource doesn’t import to our market? If so, you might want to check out Matagi in Japan. I believe they offer the full Fuji product line.

Here’s a link to the Matagi’s English language website. You might find what you're looking for here: [www.matagi.co.jp]

You can look over their website online, or if you prefer you can request a printed copy of their catalog which will contain the Fuji items not imported to the USA. If you request a printed copy I can tell you that it took quite a long time for me to get my copy.

Thanks everyone, I think Anglers Resource provides any components I might ever need. I was most interested in any extra info that might be in their main catalog that I'd otherwise miss. Thank you for your responses. Lynn

Lynn we work diligently every year to understand, distill, translate and publish the most relevant information from Fuji's Catalog into our own. That is not a claim that ALL the information is there! This years Fuji catalog is 250 pages but much of it is redundant or refers to products that have no place in the domestic market (like slip-on guides for telescoping carp rods). We currently publish more details than at any time in the past 30 years but I'm sure we miss plenty you all would find interesting. It takes weeks to discover the nuance of exactly what Fuji is trying to say and it has become a talent I never thought I would develop (or need). What you see in our catalog is to the best of our ability the kernel of what Fuji is trying to communicate.

Lynn,

I recived the new AR catalogue with the current isse of RodMaker mag. The "extra info" contained mainly explains the features of the the new products added this year. Some really nice stuff!

Thanks, Jim, for AR sending that catalog to us. Much appreciated. I still like printed catalogs for most of my work.
