American Tackle Becomes Official Sponsor of the 17th Annual World Carp Classic in Lac de Madine, France

OVIEDO, FL - The World Carp Classic organization announced today a sponsorship agreement with American Tackle Company, adding them to the high profile sponsor roster. This sponsorship deal enables American Tackle to extend it’s global reach and gain more footing in the world of carp fishing.

The MicroWave CastOff Championship is a distance and accuracy competition open to all competitors at the World Carp Classic who wish to participate; with the winner claiming an engraved spot on the coveted MicroWave Championship trophy. New champions will be added to the trophy alongside previous winners such as 2015 ICAST MicroWave FlipOff champions, Team Lew’s John Murray and Bill Lowen, as well as 2015 EFTTEX European MicroWave Casting Champion from Herakles/Colmic, Riccardo Cortigiani. “In addition to bragging rights, all MicroWave Casting Champions receive a tremendous amount of industry wide exposure for their brand - all provided and supported by the event sponsors and the American Tackle Company.” Heim added Noticeable rising U.S. brands have stepped forward with major sponsorship in order to increase the prominence of the 2015 MicroWave CastOff. This list includes; Enigma Fishing, Fitzgerald Rods, Carrot Stix, Century Rods, and T. Allen Rods along with official reel sponsors Allen Fly Fishing and Wavespin Reels.

American Tackle Company has also announced the formation of the Wave ArmyCarpers – American Tackle’s official angling team who will be competing in the 2015 World Carp Classic.
