I've done it a few times using Testors pigment (liquid poured off). I did some epoxy ramps that way. It doesn't take a lot of pigment so play with it first. _________________________________________ "Angling is extremely time consuming. Here is a good article on tinting resins:
[www.westsystem.com] [www.systemthree.com] [www.swaylocks.com] [www.pcepoxy.com] [www.youtube.com] [www.glen-l.com] [www.acpsales.com] ----------------- Although I have never tried it, it might be interesting to try using powder paint to tint epoxy. I know that I have many different jars of different colors of powder paint that is used for adding colors to jigs and fishing lures. It is normally dipped onto a lure or jig, heated; and the color flows out on the jig. Although you would not be heating the epoxy, the powder itself could be a pretty good coloring agent for the epoxy. One would have to try some tests to see if it would work. Certainly no shortage for any possible color that one might want. I believe I would try a powder dye, and mix it with acetone, then when at the right consistency mix that with the rod bond, just make sure it doesn't make the rod bond too thin for what you want to do. Probably wont be a problem since rod bond is so thick to begin with. Re: tinting Rod Bond

Ground chalk can also be used.

If youhave a marine supply store near you, they typically carry small tubes of pigments - these are great, and IMHO require much less to be mixed in to your rod bond to achieve your color than powder paints Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
