Just received my Eternity 2 9ft 8wt blank, upon inspection I noticed the tip section is about an .5 inch shorter than the other 3 sections. It is a nice clean straight cut. Has anyone else experienced this with thier Eternity 2 fly blanks?
Thanks Re: Batson Eternity 2 fly blank tip short?

does it measure 9 ft if so nothing wrong.
If not it may of got wracked off and the damage was not caught. Batson is a very integral company call them and they will correct it if its not right. Re: Batson Eternity 2 fly blank tip short?

Both my five and six weight are the same with a slightly shorter tip section. I think it i the construction of the blank. Re: Batson Eternity 2 fly blank tip short?

So with tip tip glued on lenght will be equal to other sections ;-) ________________________________________ @+ Eric [www.emfishing.fr] Re: Batson Eternity 2 fly blank tip short?

I've always made sure my tip is the shortest piece when built, in some of my Lefty Kreh books and others they say it helps reduce tip damage while travelling. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
