Just your personal preference, 1,2,3,4. Whatever looks good to you. Re: Another Accent Wrap Question.

Less than 4 may require a special technique. But it can be done. We recently highlighted single thread trim bands in a RodMaker Magazine article.

Just to clarify what my personal definition of an accent wrap is. A trim band is at one end of a wrap, an accent wrap is within the main wrap.
Some things to think about that could influence the number or turns you choose to use are ..... Thread size. A larger diameter thread being more visible, would require fewer turns to achieve the same effect as a smaller thread, would. Thread color. Increased contrast between the accent wrap thread color, and the main wrap thread color, could result in requiring fewer turns to achieve the desired look. Thread type. Metallic versus non-metallic. Metallic being reflective, leads to increased visibility, and as mentioned above, could result in requiring fewer turns to achieve the desired look. With that said, it's as Randolph said. It's just a matter of personal preference. . Re: Another Accent Wrap Question.

You can make the trim wraps anywhere from 1-10,000.
Just put the number of wraps on that suit you and your rod design. Be safe Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
