A friend has a daiwa rod made overseas with the AGS carbon fiber guides. Does anyone know where they can purchased. He's worried about breaking one and not being able to replace. I'd also like to know because they're pretty impressive and would like to build a rod using them. Thanks MH

AGS proprietary to Daiwa, don't think they're available to public. need to buy another Daiwa rod. If don't like Daiwa blank can always buy the rod, remove the guides to blank of your choice.

Yea, I thought that was the case. The rod I saw was impressive 12' surf rod. Its called a morethan. I'd hate to spend that kind of dough only to tear it up. Thanks for the input. Best, MH

Try calling Daiwa and tell them you broke two guides and see if they have them
