What guides would be best for trolling stretch 25 plugs using braid? Re: Which guides?

I don't think it really matters as I have had no failures with any of the guides with ceramic inserts - if you take care of them by washing down after a day on the water. If you're not 100% certain that will be done then look at pricing titanium framed guides (not titanium plated) guide frames. On trolling rods the American Tackle ring lock "Virtus" guides are nice and come in either a "heavy" or "light" duty. Re: Which guides?

Hello Kevin.
I'm 100% with Ken on this, I've caught everything from BIG bluefish, Spanish Mac's, Kink Mac's to 350lb Thresher Sharks (now there is a fight) on the "Virtus" guides. Tight Wraps and Bent Rods. Bob, New Bern, NC. Re: Which guides?

You could also take a look at the ALPS line of guides. They currently are on boats that are fishing for those exact species. Infact if you watch wicked tuna, ALPS guides are on those rods.
You can either do roller guides or the HXN guides. Here is the link: [alpsforecast.com] R. McBride Batson Enterprises BatsonEnterprises.com | RainShadowRodBlanks.com | ALPSForeCast.com | Build2Fish.com Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
