I have put CP on my thread, after it has dried I now have gaps in the thread that I didn't have before. First time this has happened to me. What is going on? Are the wraps not tight enough? Re: CP

Robin, the answer is probably yes. If the wraps were not tight they certainly would tend to move when color preserver was applied. Also the application method can move the thread. If brushed on the brushing action will tend to move thread leaving gaps. Again though if tight enough that's a hard thing to do. Re: CP

After I was finished applying CP there were no gaps..... Re: CP

If the gaps are at the tip of the guide foot, that would explain a lot. Re: CP

There are gaps even where there is no guide foot, I put some wraps at the winding checks....same result, gaps! Re: CP

Sounds very much like the wraps were too loose. Re: CP
