Makes me wonder where this guy shops for his equipment. After reading the first paragraph I lost any interest in what he had to say.

Jon,

If he had written something like "I wanted to try and build my own to save a few bucks" or I wanted to try a different approach" I would have made it past the first paragraph. Since you took the time to respond, I gave it another lookover. Unfortunately the second time I didn't make it past the word "thingimibob" before reaching the same conclusion I did initially.

I did scan and look over the pictures though.

I thought it was pretty neat that he used a microwave turn table as a motor, and explained how to wire it.
I'm sure, as a Mechanical Engineer, that I use thingimibob, or whatchamacallit every day, unless of course it's actually a whosiwatsis
