I've got a guy who wants me to replace a couple broken guides on his G Loomis NRX rod. The thread is that light greenish/blueish color. What thread would match that?
Thanks in advance! AC FishinFreaks Rogers, MN Re: Loomis NRX Thread

AC,
Find some colors that are close, wrap them on a blank, saturate with denatured alcohol and that will be the final color. Look at the colors in the green and blue hues. [www.proproducts.us] Good luck Re: Loomis NRX Thread

it will also help to take the thread off a guide in as large a section as you can The true color is usually underneath the wrap Then try to match it with the threads you put on a scrap blank as roger has said Bill - willierods.com Re: Loomis NRX Thread

Do they use an NCP type thread on those rods? Thanks - Marc Keep it simple - that's all I can handle! Re: Loomis NRX Thread

very possibly could be Blue Dunn. Have you tried to see if that matches?

My bad on this one. I thought it was for a St Croix and tried to delete my comments but I found out that it still went on the forum
