I found this cool American Tackle burl rosewood trimmed handle in a bin at a local store. Then I found through searching that it was originally part of a whole handle/seat/fighting butt system.

Bingham sent me some other reel seat, on further discussion AT told them they never made this part. Mudhole doesn't even know this was on their site, claiming they have no control over that page (!?) and therefore that it must not exist.
I've had some pretty frustrating conversations around this. I guess at this point, I choose humor.
Unfortunately, I've already designed and built the rod and have slid delivery over a month while I waited for this part.

So, my questions are:
1) Does anybody have this mythical 229 AT burl rosewood fighting butt laying around?
2) Barring that, could I commission one?
3) Otherwise I will take a unicorn horn set up.
