looking for a good 6.6 Ulta lite blank for trout and I see that MHX makes one but has anybody ever had any problems with these MHX fresh water ultra lite blanks. Glenn McMurrian Re: MHX Fresh Water Ulta lite Rod blank

I built both the 6.5 and the 7 foot MHX ultra light spinning blanks to throw 1/16 and 1/8 spinners, but found them too soft.
Someone here suggested I try the SJ720-MHX, a 6 foot spin-jig blank. It was shorter that I wanted, so I extended the blank to 6'6" by inserting an extension at the butt and putting the joint inside the reel seat. Works great! Re: MHX Fresh Water Ulta lite Rod blank

While it is 7', you might want to take a look at the Bushido SJ72/4-8 Ron Weber Re: MHX Fresh Water Ulta lite Rod blank

I have about 20 builds on the MHX S782 and S781 no problems maybe 5 years now. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 01/09/2015 05:59PM by Chris E Linville. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
