Was wondering if anyone else has tried the new Pro FX metallic thread? And wondering what your thoughts are on it.
Just got eight spools in different colors and was anxious to try out. Their description said it looked and handles like no other thread. Well, I tried it on a double foot wrap with trim bands and thread inlays and all I can say is WOW It handles like regular nylon and doesn't have that springy tendency. It was very easy to work with and when cutting with a razor blade doesn't feel like your are cutting aluminum foil .The colors I recieved look teriffic too. Nice feedback on the thread. Have you tried the Fuji thread and if so how does it compare?
If anyone else has tried them please share your experiences. Thanks Re: ProWrap Pro FX Premium Metallic Thread

I have used the pro wrap metallic thread and Im happy with the way it wraps. The only problem I have had is with the blue metallic thread. I triple coated the wraps with preserver and it bleached out in the sun. My blue trim bands are now silver. It happened on two rods and it didn't take long for it to fade. Very strange because the other colors work perfect. Anyone have this happen to them? Anyone have an opinion on why it happened? Thanks, MH Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
