I have ONE question for all users of these power wrappers
If these chucks keep losening up Do any of the LATH CHUCKS losen up ??? These are used at very high speed I would not want a piece at say 6000 rpm flying off a lath in my face Sounds to me none of the power wrapper chucks are worth it No offence to the companies making them Butt Jee They all seem to not work ????? Why do all have to have RUBBER BANDS wrapped around them DAAAAA The first two things I was thinking of is Maybe the jaws should not be as long as they are OR maybe the rubber in them should be softer to grab whatever better OR they should be MADE better ???? Do ya think HAY I don't know But Some thing is Funky In Denver I keep reading the same posts Why not just get a Lath Chuck for your power wrapper What if Like I do with my Home Made Drill Lath -- put a piece of scrap blank into the chuck Tighten it up -- Then adjust the rollers to fit the blank or scrap piece and this way the Chuck Is Set and aliened to the rollers Could it be THAT SIMPLE Bill - willierods.com Edited 2 time(s).
