article about "embroidery" patterns on rods

Is there a current supplier for Size E thread? I cannot locate any reference to it on the internet.
I have a pattern (drying) after wrapping with D thread.

thanks

Many component supply dealers still have some left from years ago as it was never very popular. You might try emailing a few and asking. I suspect you'll turn some up.

I stock size E in black nylon. It is in medium spools (about one ounce), It is used for wrapping trolling rods and outriggers.
It is not on our web page, you would need to send an email.

For size comparisons (spool capacities for medium size spool):
Nylon Size D - 450 yards
Nylon Size E - 285 yards
Perma Color (NCP) Size D - 300 yards

Are you looking for it in colors? I know people who have some, they've brought it to NERBs gatherings to try and get rid of, but nobody takes it.
