Great lakes Salmon blank

Been searching around for info on a blank for mooching and flatline trolling salmon. I see mixed preferences between graphite and glass. This rod would primarily be used on lake ontario in late summer and fall as salmon begin to stage, with no more then 3-4oz. of lead (probably less most of the time). I would like to keep it longer (9+ft.) and not break the bank, any suggestions on blanks?

You won't find a better salmon mooching blank than those made by Lamiglas , either glass or graphite work great!!

Randolph,

I was looking at the lamiglas blanks, one thing i could not find is the taper on each of the blanks in the specs, any particular model you would choose?

For your application I like the Lamiglas GSA108 2H, specifically designed for mooching. The power is light enough for large trout and steelhead also and is used in other lakes for landlocked salmon, etc. throughout the U.S., plus it makes a decent downrigger rod.
Forgot to mention it is a well regarded salmon drift and float rod blank in the Pac NW.
