Europian Carp Rod Blanks

Has anyone built a surf rod to throw plugs (2 1/2 to 3 oz) on one of thesr high end rod blanks used for carp fishing in Europe? I know they are rated differently, based upon the weight it takes to bend the rod to 90 degrees I believe. From what I have been able to research to throw plugs in that range you would likely be using a blank rated around 3.5 - 4. Do any of the sponsors handle these blanks and what are the higher quality brands,

From what I have been able to read it might be an interesting build in a 11 foot rod.

Thanks

Talon Graphite here in the U.S. also makes carp blanks, though I think they are in the 12 Ft. range.

Frank, mudhole lists them in their cataloque and has for some time.
I tried to buy some at one expo and they did not have them.
Said their listing as available in the catalogue was a misprint.
Maybe that situation has changed?
Call them.

I have fished with carp blanks for actual carp as well as here in USA for other species.
Its NOT my go to lure rod for anything.
Its for bait and weight.
Tiny hooks in softish mouths( # 8 or #10 very common hooks) that needs a shock absorber tip but serious butt power to get 30 plus pound dirty fighting fish out of weeds and branches etc.
Think graphite blanks but action that mimics S glass sort of.
But a 2.75 or 3.0 12ft carp rod makes one of the very best tailwater rods you could build: weight and bait style fishing for larger stripers and flat heads,BIG bluecat etc.
You can cast 150 yards using 5 or 6 oz lead plus a shad , very handy.
Rig it for an Alvey reel and it can be even nicer.
Also: the rating is in pounds not ounces .
There are good you tube videos on how they rate them.

Some of the Century "surf" rods are actually carp rods. I think the Stealth series qualify as such.
