Looks like we are about finished with the R&D center. Plenty of little bugs to be worked out but seems to be functional and well thought out so far. Thanks to all who helped with suggestions and comments as the place evolved. Only thing missing is my light...still hasn't arrived yet. Here are a few pics of the results. Thanks again.

Jim,

That really nice. I wish I had my rod building shop inside, (with the air conditioning). The summers get too hot here in CA!

Hope you have a dust collector planned for your lathe station. I make a large mess with mine in the garage.. Nice layout and a bright clean look.

Well done.

Terry

Hello Jim.

Is the lathe going to be using the electric cord set-up you show in your picture?

If you do the trip hazard is HIGH!

Good Luck.

Bob,

New Bern, NC.

Robert I was surprised to notice that there is no plug on the wall at the lathe. I will eventually do something more permanent, was just checking to see that it made the move in good shape.
