I HAVE 2 WHITE TROLLING BLANKS THAT i WOULD LIKE TO CHANGE TO BLACK TO MATCH OTHERS. WHAT WOULD BE THE CORRECT PRODUCTS TO USE AND WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST PROCEDURE TO USE TO TO OBTAIN A GLOSSY BLACK FINISH. WITH THESE PRODUCTS OVER WHITE?THANKS. Re: blank coloring

i would strip the white off the blank I carefully scrap the old paint off Then clean with a fine to ruff scotch pad

This subject has been cover countless times in the past. There's detailed information at hand if you use the forum search tool and search for something like "painting blanks". make sure to set the time period to more than the last previous month or so. Re: blank coloring

I realize this has been covered before but after an extensive search turned up nothing to answer the questions that I had as to type of paint to use and brand I turned to the forum. These two rods will be on my boat therefore I do not need a rockstar finish but something that is functional. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
