Hey, I tried calling batson enterprise and sending an email about this but didn't get a response yet so I thought I ask you guys. For the decal sticker that comes with the rainshadow blanks, do I need to use color preserver first before putting the finish on? Trying to get the rod finish before my trip on Thursday. Thanks! I've always add a little CP to the edges just to make sure I don't get any seepage of the epoxy. I'm sure others have had good luck without it. I figure this is about the last step or very close to it so why take chances. Chester May your line be tight and your beverages be cold! Re: Rainshadow specification decal sticker

We always seal any label or inscription with CP, usually 2 coats, just to be on the safe side. Best wishes, Ron Schneider Schneider's Rod Shop Mountain Home, Arkansas [www.schneidersrods.com] mtnron40@yahoo.com 870-424-3381 Re: Rainshadow specification decal sticker

And make sure the CP is dry between coats and before applying the epoxy. Don Campbell don@sensorfishingrods.com Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
