Do I need to apply an adhesive to EVA before installing the heat shrink tubing ? I couldn't find any info on the subject.

Thanks Robert. I knew I had read that somewhere but couldn't remember where. That's exactly how I did it. Worked perfectly.

I don't use any adhesive. I haven't run into any issues. The shrink grip isn't going anywhere. If you wanted to twist the shrink grip you would have to squeeze it and by squeezing it gets locked in place against the EVA.

I sell shrink tube for the PearLabel printers. Best way is to use a Heat Gun (you can use a hair blower if it gets hot enough). If you want, call me if you have any questions.

Larry,

Can you elaborate on the shrink tubing for the printers? What sizes and is it 360 compatible? Can you upload some sample photos to the photo server and provide a link to them here?

If you go to my web page, click on the 2 printers called the PearLabel. It will show a YouTube video of the units. We carry 5 sizes of Shrink Tube. Our printer will print text or graphics on the shrink tube.

With the clients I have, they use Shrink Tube on electric wires. They use a heat gun to lock the product on it. Never heard of using glue but it may work. The word shrink is for the product to shrink on the wire, or what ever is sealing.
