Cross Wrap Question

Have just started "practising", doing various crosswraps on a dowel to see what pattern I might like to put on the rod I am building. Have done a lot of reading, both here and in other forums about spacing, layout crosses, passes etc., and I have managed to figure out and do most of the simpler patterns, diamond, chevron etc. I am however having a problem figuring out the proper wrapping seqence for the "maltese cross". I have the spacing figured out (4 axis layout) and understand that I "wrap out the box with color #1" (both up and down) and "wrap inside the box with color #2" (both up and down). What I can't figure out, or find anywhere however, is the actual seqence for wrapping? Do you do one complete wrap of color #1 up and down (outside) both boxes, and then color #2, up and down (inside) both boxes, or do you do color #1 up the outside of one leg, then #2 up the inside of the same leg, then do the same on the next leg? Its probably self evident but I can't seem to get it right. Hopefully I have explained my problem correctly.
Any help would be much appreciated. Regards Geo Re: Cross Wrap Question

Wrap the box out up and down both sides then the box in up down both sides. Good question. Freddwhy (Rapt-Ryte) Re: Cross Wrap Question
