I have an older Clemens lathe and need one of the knobs that secure the rod supports to the base. They are 4 prong black and have a small piece of plastic in the threaded end to keep from marring the lathe bed. If anyone can direct me to a source I would appreciate it.
Thanks. Pat Barnard Re: Clemens 4 prong lathe bed knob

Pat:
Try Renzetti Inc, they made the most of the components for the Clemens lathes. Rich Kline Custom Rods Re: Clemens 4 prong lathe bed knob

Renzetti would have those, as well as a place like McMaster-Carr.

My local hardware store carries knobs like this.
By the way, you can just use a washer to keep from marring the bed and use an ordinary wing nut. They will work well and cost about 5 cents. Be safe Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
