what type of finish on Batson RX8?

Is the Titanium chrome finish on the RX8 a gloss or matte finish?

It is a pretty finish. Kinda between a gun metal and silver metal flake that you would see on a fancy sports car. Red/maroon and green threads colors are nice matches. Been some recent threads on color combos with links to pics. Still haven't had a chance to build mine but seem like great blanks.

I think that some folks refer to the finish color as Platinum. I think that that is a pretty good description.

Looks great with garnet or equivalent without CP, silver metallic trim. Very rich look, garnet w/o CP looks like black cherry.

Maroon wraps with gold metallic trim bands is one of the prettiest color combo's I've used on it.
